A private assistant that reads one person's calendar and inbox and sends him a short list each morning of what he actually has to do.
This is not a product and there is nothing to sign up for. It runs on a single computer owned by Will Bruce, serves only him, and has no other users.
Every morning it looks at four things — his calendar, his email, his notes and a file of dated commitments — and sends one message to his phone. Every line in that message is something to do. If there is nothing to do, it sends nothing at all.
The reason it reads more than the calendar is that the calendar was never where the real obligations lived. Measured over two and a half weeks, it held four events, while the things that actually mattered sat in his notes, in a promise made in a sent email, and in a deadlines file.
It stays on his machine. Nothing is sold, shared or handed to anyone, there is no analytics or tracking of any kind, and Google user data is never used to train a model. The full detail, permission by permission, is in the privacy policy.
